CRISFIELD

RENEE HERNANDEZ, 35, of Crisfield, died at her home in Crisfield, on Wednesday, November 1, 2006.

Born in Baltimore County, Maryland on September 1, 1971, she was a daughter of Judy Martin Sharp of Millville, Delaware and Myron J. Schmidt, Sr. of Westover.

She was a homemaker who was very devoted to her husband and her children. She loved to cook, and she was also very involved in helping the Hispanic community by interpreting. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Westover.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Armando Hernandez of Crisfield; four children, Amanda Hernandez, Rosa Hernandez, Angelica Hernandez and Alberto Hernandez, all of Crisfield; her mother, Judy Sharp of Millville, Delaware; her father and step-mother, Myron and Paula Schmidt of Westover; her grandmother, Irma Seuberth of Westover; her brother, Joe Schmidt and his wife Michelle of Westover; her half sister, Kathryn Schmidt and her companion, Ricky Dowden of Salisbury; two step-sisters, Karen Wilson and her husband Glenn of Bridgewater, Connecticut and Kelly Taylor and her husband Ryan of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; two aunts, Christine Martin of Millville and Debbie Rios and her husband David of Elgin, Illinois; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Esther and Ventura Hernandez of Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 6, 2006 at 2 PM at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Westover. Father Johnny Laura will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
