Reginald E. “Reggie” Riggin, 96, of Pocomoke City, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Hartley Hall Nursing and Rehab.
Born in Crisfield on January 15, 1930, he was a son of the late Elmer and Carrie M. Hundley Riggin.
Mr. Riggin was retired from the State of MD Department of Natural Resources and was a US Army Air Force veteran. His memberships over the years included Goodwill Baptist Church, Pocomoke Elks Lodge #1624, Rehobeth Ruritan, the American Legion and most recently the Pocomoke Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Taylor Riggin of Pocomoke; daughter-in-law, Jean Thornton Taylor and companion Charles Coulbourne of Pocomoke; grandchildren, Wade Taylor and wife Christa of Pocomoke and Scott Taylor and wife Casey of Delmar; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Meredith, Riley, Blake and Colby Taylor; and a niece, Arlene Gerstenmaier and husband Eric of Salisbury.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Riggin; his step-son, Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Taylor; his brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Terry D. Riggin and Barbara Riggin; and a great-grandson, Caleb Paul Taylor.
A graveside service will be Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11 AM at First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
Donations in lieu of flowers may me made to the Pocomoke Vol. Fire Company or the Pocomoke Vol. Fire Company Auxiliary.
