Rebecca Elizabeth Hitchcock Haifley, 33, of Baltimore and formerly of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 following a brief illness.
Born in Tacoma Park, MD February 2, 1983, she was the beloved daughter of Frances E. Hitchcock of Salisbury and the late Dennis L. Hitchcock.
Rebecca was a devoted mother who was very loving and giving. She was funny, creative, an accomplished artist, and a published writer. She also enjoyed traveling and lived in France for several years.
In addition to her mother, Frances E. Hitchcock of Salisbury, she is survived by her husband of 14 years, David Haifley of Baltimore; her son, Aaron Denis Haifley; and two sisters, Jennifer Hitchcock Mrohs and her husband Robbie and their children Anabelle and Theron, all of Crisfield, and Emily Hitchcock of Salisbury.
Along with her father, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Tristan Alexander Hitchcock-Haifley.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11 AM at Bethesda U.M. Church, 406 N. Division Street, Salisbury, MD.
