Philip Preston "Bugman" Thomas, 79, of Crisfield, went to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born in Crisfield on August 20, 1938, he was a son of the late Preston and Matilda McCready Thomas.

A graduate of Wicomico Senior High School Class of 1957, he was in the exterminating business for 47 years retiring in January 2016.

He is survived by his loving and supportive wife of 44 years, Brenda Thomas of Crisfield; his daughter who loved and adored him, Pati Aswell and husband Jimmy of Crisfield.  He was #13 of 17 children, and is also survived by, three brothers, James Thomas and wife Lettie of Kingston, Johnny Thomas and wife Dixie of Salisbury, and Joshua Thomas and wife Ann of Tennessee; four sisters, Naomi Carmine of Crisfield, Becky Evans of Crisfield, Tillie Green of Tennessee, and Presteen Thomas of Delmar; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
