PERCY B. WILLIAMS, 97, of Crisfield, and formerly of Lakewood, Colorado, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at his home.

Born in White Haven, Pennsylvania on August 15, 1912, he was a son of the late Fred and Kate Behling Williams.

A retired engineer, he was a 1933 graduate of Penn State School of Engineering and also served in the US Navy Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield and was a volunteer for the State of Maryland Consumer Advocate Bureau.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Susan Evans Williams of Crisfield; one son, John E. Williams and his wife Kathleen of North Easton, Massachusetts; two granddaughters, Jennifer Shihg and her husband Paul of Corvallis, Oregon and Meghan Grummer and her husband Sean of Portland, Oregon; and one brother, Horace Williams.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Leon, and Lester Williams.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Howard Travers will officiate. interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
