Patsy Cowger Sayers, 82, of Pocomoke City, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Cokesbury, MD on August 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William Paul Cowger and Eloise Mears Cowger.

She was a 1959 graduate of Pocomoke High School and Marnello Beauty School in Baltimore.  She opened the LaRiviera Beauty Salon in 1962 and ran it for 32 years.

She is survived by one son, William Paul Cowger, II (Kim) of Fayetteville, NC; two grandsons, Phillip Paul Cowger (Jamie) and Craig Adam Cowger; and one great-grandson, Maddox Paul of Fayetteville.  She is also survived by her niece and nephews, Theresa Jenkins (Steve), Patrick Giordano (Rochelle), Greg East (Terri), and Debbie Mitchell (Norman).

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Giordano; and her husband, Robert T. Allen, Jr.

A special thanks to her neighbors, Lisa and Brian Colona, and a special nephew who took care of her every day, Steve Jenkins.

Graveside funeral services were private at Pitts Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
