Patsy Ann Marshall Somers, 83, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Marion Station on November 3, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Orland "Ike" Marshall and Margaret Ward Marshall Morrison.

A graduate of Marion High School class of 1949, she was a nurse at McCready Hospital retiring after 51 years.

She was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church in Crisfield and was a former member of the Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044 Ladies Auxiliary and the former Chesapeake Chapter #28 O.E.S. She was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan and loved playing volleyball, basketball and softball in her younger years.

She is survived by four children, Patsy E. Somers and companion Larry Sterling of Crisfield, Marjory S. Morgan and husband Cliff of Crisfield, John Lawrence Somers, III and wife Karen of Crisfield, and William Bruce Somers and wife Tanna of Marion; three grandchildren, Angela Monique Welch and husband Billy of Marion, Kevin Somers of North Carolina, and Megan Elizabeth Williams and husband Scott of Salisbury; three great-grandchildren, William C. "Billy C.' Marsh and fiance Courtney, Cash Williams, and Riley Williams; her sister, Jean Blades of Crisfield; three special friends, Harvey Tyler, Betty Clabaugh and Peggy Hess; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, John L. Somers; her brother, Orland "Buck" Marshall; and her sister, Doris Marshall Balderson.

Funeral services officiated by Pastors Bob Daniels and Steve Willing will be Friday, May 20, 2016 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.
