Angels unexpectedly swept away Patsy Walker Caldwell (formerly Patsy Walker Landon), 86, of Crisfield, on the afternoon of Monday, April 2, 2018 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne.

Born in Crisfield on August 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Harold C. and Beulah Mae Brittingham Walker.

Pasty was well known by many Crisfield residents during her 86 year life span.  She graduated from Crisfield High School then Business School of Baltimore.  She had been a lifetime member of Crisfield First Baptist Church, including teaching Sunday School.  Patsy also assisted with Crisfield Little League for many years.

She was a former secretary at Carvel Hall and Deers Head Hospital.  She was head secretary for 18 years at the University of Maryland Seafood Lab in Crisfield and was also a commanders secretary for 12 years for the Department of Defense at Presidio of San Francisco, California.

Patsy leaves behind her husband, Allen Caldwell; a son, Raymond William Landon (Carol Speigle Landon) of Crisfield; daughters, Melinda Young Oakley (Mitch Oakley) of Lynn Haven, FL and Teresa Ann Landon (Tracy Lee) of Princess Anne, MD; granddaughters, Melissa Oakley Hylton (Joe Hylton) and their children, Jaden, Gracie, and Russell of Westover, MD and Melanie Oakley of Lynn Haven, FL; and a devoted friend, Michael Horsey.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Walker and William Walker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.  The Rev. Jack "Tad" Maroon will officiate and interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
