Pamela Tyler Ward, 74, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at her home.

Born in Crisfield December 3, 1942, she was a daughter of the late C. Maxwell Tyler and Winnie Lawson Tyler.

A graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1960, she was a retired paralegal working for the UMES Hotel/Restaurant Management program.

She was a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was active in the UMW. She was also a member of the former Chesapeake Chapter #28 Order of the Eastern Star, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed her cats, gardening, and most of all she loved spending time with and doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Lara Ward Parkinson and husband Rick of Marion and Maria Ward Swift and husband Bobby Dean, Sr. of Crisfield; her brother, Lex Tyler and wife Chris of Crisfield; her grandchildren, Amanda Swift Thomas and husband Taylor, Rebecca Swift Cain and husband Greg, Tyler Maxwell Crockett and wife Ashley, Bobby Dean Swift, Jr., and Hannah Maria Parkinson, all of Crisfield, and Taylor Alexandra Reid of Harbeson, DE; 11 great-grandchildren, Talan, A.J., Cooper, Khloe, Emma, Trace, Layton, Max, Tyler, Addie, and Easton; and her nephews and niece, Toby, Wesley, and Katy.

Funeral services officiated by The Rev. Sumner Jones will be Monday, October 2, 2017 at 2 PM at Asbury U. M. Church where a viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery.
