Obituary

Norma Lee Ward Watt, 76, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.

Born in Crisfield March 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Earl B. and Carrie I. Handy Ward. She lived on the Eastern Shore for the past 20 years, and prior to that lived in Bowie and Washington, DC.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, she was a homemaker and most importantly a Mom. After her children were older, she worked for Campfire Boys and Girls Club in Silver Spring, and was a caregiver for the elderly.

She loved spending time with her family and most of all she loved being a Mom. She was an active leader of the Campfire group for 15+ years; and she enjoyed playing "chase the rat" with her brother, shopping, jewelry, diet coke and cigarettes. She also loved Maryland, especially the Eastern Shore.

She is survived by her children, Nancy L. Harr and husband Matthew of Smyrna, Georgia, Jennifer L. Hall and husband Mike of Salisbury, and William A. Watt; two grandchildren, Vance and Pierce Harr; and her former husband, William M. Watt of Annapolis.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard Bennett "Dicky" and Priscilla "Bea" Ward.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2 Pm at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733.
