NAOMI R. LEE, 76, of Crisfield, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield where she had been a resident for the past four years.
Born in Crisfield, Maryland on January 24, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John and Irene Killman DeHaven. Her husband, Howard J. Lee, died July 18, 1997.
She was a seamstress, working for the former Crisfield Cap Factory for many years. She also loved crafting, and was a member of the Crisfield Church of God.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn E. Cullen (Greg) of Marion; a sister, Roseanna Hall of Crisfield; six grandchildren, Andrea Connell (Barry) of Ohio, Philip Labo, III (Heather) of Marion, George Taylor (Marshalann) of Crisfield, Maria Nelson (Chuck) of Crisfield, Krista Labo of Crisfield, and Natalie Diggs (C.J.) of Princess Anne;18 great-grandchildren, Kendra Connell, Philip Labo, IV, James Connell, Tiffany Labo, John Connell, Maegan Johnson, Richard Messick, III, Kris Somers, Sean Sutton, Storm Messick, Kayla Somers, Jonathon Taylor, Kamryn Somers, Noah Nelson, Christopher Diggs, Jr., Victoria Labo, Gabriella Taylor, and Natalie Renee Parks; one great-great-granddaughter, Kayden Somers; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaretta Lee Brittingham on August 22, 1998; and her sisters and brothers, Caroline Warwick, Elizabeth Collins, Mary Collins, Rosamond Parks, Levener Ludlum, George "Cookie" Cannon and Jackie DeHaven.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
