Nancy Sue Ward, 85, of Crisfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at her home.

Born in Crisfield on January 31, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Milton E. Ward and Kathryn McDorman Ward Goldsborough.  She had been making her home in Baltimore since 1953 and moved back to her hometown of Crisfield in 1997.

A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1949, she was retired from the State of Maryland Department of Licensing where she worked for 30 years before her retirement.

A member of Asbury United Methodist Church, she was an avid animal lover and enjoyed having fun.  She was a very giving person who loved going out with her family and especially adored her nephews.

She is survived by her brother, M. William "Bill" Ward and wife Argene of Crisfield; her nephew, Keith B. Ward and wife Courtney of Crisfield; and three great-nephews, Ross Bloodsworth of Woodbridge, VA, John David Perdue of Salisbury, and Kash Ward of Crisfield;

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Ward Bloodsworth; and two nephews, Charles Mickey Bloodsworth and William Glenn Ward.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call one hour prior to the service.  The Reverends Stephen S. Willing and Sumner Jones will officiate.  Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
