Obituary
Nancy Lee Riggin, 63, of Ocean View, DE and formerly of Westover, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at her home in Ocean View.
Born in Crisfield on February 27, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Roy Riggin, Jr. and Gloria Ryan Copper. She had been making her home in Delaware for the past eight years.
She was self-employed.
She enjoyed fishing, deer and wildlife watching, rescuing animals, and was an avid Disney collector.
She is survived by a niece, Tina Russell of Westover, and her children, Christine Sawyer, Kristen Curtis, Brittany Pugh, and Katarina Pugh; a niece, Tammy Russell of Westover; a nephew, Nicholas Stacy of Ocean View; her cousins, Madeline Daugherty and Bonnie Lynn Daugherty, both of Crisfield; her best friends, Tammy Feather and JoAnn Coliano of Ocean View; and several other relatives.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt who was like a mother to her, Lucille Johnson; two sisters, Rebecca Riggin and Cassandra Jackson; and her aunt, Rebecca Riggin.
A graveside funeral service and interment will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield. Rev. Isaac Jenkins will officiate.
