Nancy Evans Parks, 83, of Tangier, VA and formerly of Ewell, MD, died Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield, MD.

Born on Tangier Island November 4, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Charles Fletcher and Lucy Ellen Crockett McCready.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Milton "Mickey" Evans and her second husband, Charles Wesley Parks.

She was a cook at the Bayside Inn on Ewell, Smith Island for many years.  She was a member of Ewell United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, and the Ewell Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia "Penny" Marsh of Crisfield; two sons, John "Chuck" Evans and his girlfriend Scottie Brimmer of Painter, VA and Mickey R. Evans and his spouse Reggie Boyer of Mechanicsburg, PA; her brother, Jackie McCready and his wife Marlene of Tangier; four grandchildren, Michelle Bradshaw and her husband Brent, Heather Marshall and her husband Jamie, Samantha Eskridge and her husband Thomas Reed, and Daniel McClendon; three great grandsons, Aiden Bradshaw, Corey Marshall, and Seth Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nellie McCready Landon; and a brother, Charles Sidney McCready.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Everett Landon will be Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 2 PM at Ewell United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Ewell Church Cemetery.  Viewings will be Monday morning from 10-11 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home, Monday evening from 7-9 at the church, and Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
