Nancy Nelson Brice, 83, of Crisfield, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at her home.

Born in Crisfield March 7, 1935, she was a daughter of the late John Frank and Addie Evans Nelson.  Her husband, Victor C. Brice, died in 1991.

She was a buyer at Rubberset Corp. in Crisfield working 30 years before her retirement in 1997.

Nancy devoted her life to caring and providing for abused and unwanted animals.

She is survived by three step-sons, John Brice, Tommy Brice, and Nelson Brice; cousins, Florence Horsey and Beatrice J. "Bea Jo" Lawson; and several other cousins.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Sterling in 1987, and Dorothy Nelson in 1921.

Private graveside services will be held.
