MILTON O. "MICKEY" BRIDDELL, JR., 87 of Marion, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at University of MD Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born in Baltimore on May 15, 1924, he was a son of the late Milton O. Briddell and Evelyn Powell Briddell. His wife, Alice Marie Liller Briddell died in 2006.
He was a master mechanic a retired poultry grower. He was a lifelong member of Rehobeth Baptist Church where he was an usher and ordained Deacon.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dale M. "Mickey" and Joyce Briddell of Westover; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Donna Liller of Mobile, Alabama; a granddaughter, Tanya Briddell; a step-grandson, Jeffery Liller; and a step-brother, Karl Endlich.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Margaret Endlich; a sister, Mary Virginia Briddell; a half sister, Catherine "Kitty" Skorabatch; a half brother, Edward Harrison Briddell; and a step-son, Paul E. Ardis, Jr.
Graveside funeral services and interment will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 2 PM at Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Maddox will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to Rehobeth Baptist Church, c/o Joyce Briddell, 7620 Old Westover Marion Road, Westover, MD 21871.
