Mildred Ellen "Mickey" Evans, 72, of Ewell, Smith Island and formerly of Crisfield, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in St. Mary's County, MD on November 6, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Edward Vaughan Dise and Margaret Madalyn Gray Dise.

A graduate of Wicomico High School class of 1960, she was a retired CNA working 38 years at Salisbury Nursing Home. She was a member of Ewell United Methodist Church and was a very loving and kind person.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Billy Reed Evans of Ewell; two daughters, Teresa Wilson of Salisbury and Ginny Howard of Harrington, DE; a step-son, Billy John Evans of Ewell; three grandchildren, Kelly Virginia Coons of Salisbury, Mikayla Evans of Ewell and Elijah Evans of Ewell; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Insley in 2001.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2 PM at Ewell United Methodist Church where friends may visit from 1:30-2. The Rev. Rick Edmund will officiate.
