MIKE L. ROWE, JR., 55, of Crisfield, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 at his home.

Born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 22, 1953, he was the son of Myrtle Butler of Crisfield and the late Mike Loyd Rowe.

A graduate of Dill City High School in Oklahoma, he was an employee of Handy's Company in Crisfield, and prior, was a tax assessor for the State of Missouri.

He attended the Faith Fellowship Assembly of God in Crisfield and enjoyed playing the drums.

He is survived by a son, Chris Rowe of Marion Station; a daughter, Sandy Meyer of St. Charles, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jessie and Chase Meyer of St. Charles; two sisters, Theresa Abernethy and husband Gary of Altus, Oklahoma and Margaret Jackson and husband David of Abilene, Texas; two aunts, Norma Lee Maddrix and Barbara Reese, both of Crisfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation followed his death, and a private memorial service and urn interment will be held.

Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
