Michael Wayne "Shorty" Walker, 57, of Bivalve, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 16, 2011 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Baltimore, he was a son of Kathleen Mae James Walker and the late R. P. Walker.
He was a retired machinist and currently was an express truck driver for the Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Salisbury. He enjoyed riding his Harley- Davidson Super Glide and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
Besides his mother Kathleen, he is survived by his loving girlfriend, Diana Mason; his adoring children, his son, Brian Walker, his daughter, Jennifer Culbertson and her husband Nowa; his grandsons, Trevor and Owan; his brother, James Walker and wife, Nancy; and his nieces, Stacey and Valarie Walker. He is also survived by a special friend, Brad Mason.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Todd Hurley will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 4:00 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 1-3:30 PM at The Bowman Restaurant, 9306 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21234.
