Micah William Josenhans, 36, of Mardela Springs, passed very peacefully to his Heavenly Home on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Easton Medical Center.
Born in Salisbury on October 21, 1988, he was the son of Kevin and Robin Wroten Josenhans of Mardela Springs.
A home school high school graduate, he attended Wor-Wic Community College and over the years worked at Delmarva Shorebirds, Somers Cove Marina, was a caregiver to the elderly, a handyman, and a construction worker.
Micah was a regular attendee of Providence Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Salisbury and Pamlico Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Oriental, NC. He was also a member of the ASPCA and Humane Society.
A weather enthusiast, he was an avid storm chaser who was fascinated by unexplained weather phenomena. He was an historian, was interested in astronomy, loved nature, and had a heart for animals. He loved traveling to amusement parks with his sister Krista, goose hunting with his Uncle Dave, and decorating for the holidays.
Micah loved his life and his family. He was a light in our lives and anyone that met him fell in love with him. He was a "rock star" everywhere he went and was referred to as being "Superman" during his cancer treatments.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Robin Josenhans; his sister, Krista Josenhans Dorsey (Chris); his maternal grandmother, Gloria Wroten; his aunts and uncles, Melanie Milbourne (Mark), Valerie Colona, Dawn Coons, Lauren Josenhans Shaver, Sandra Josenhans, Chrissy Josenhans Schultz (Jonathan), Patty Josenhans, and John Josenhans; beloved second cousins, Grace "Shug" Maddox, Barbara Wingfield, and Dixie Sterling Donahue; and many other cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gary Wroten; and his paternal grandparents, Ted and Betty Josenhans.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a viewing will be from 12-1 PM. Pastor Jason Van Bemmel will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ASPCA, www.aspca.org/donate or to your local Humane Society or Animal Shelter.
