Melinda Fae Mason, 50, of Delmar, MD, died Saturday, May 11, 2019 at her home.

Born in Salisbury December 28, 1968, she was a daughter of Esther Sterling Coddington of Delmar, MD and the late John Edward "Buddy" Mason, III.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, she earned Associate's degrees in Theology and Bookkeeping.  She was a Certified Payroll Professional and was employed at PRMC.

She was working towards building her own bookkeeping and payroll business.  She was a member of Restored Souls Ministries in Marion.

If anyone knew Melinda, she could brighten a whole room with her smile, and could have a conversation with anyone.  Most of those conversations were spent talking about her grand babies and her daughter, or her love for her pets, Piper, a Catalina Macaw, and Zeke, her silly terrier.  She took pride in herself and her family, and would go to world's end to provide for them and protect them.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Kristen Welch of Delmar, MD; her grandsons, Brendan and Brayson Welch; her sisters, Renee Collier (Steve) of Hebron and Ashley Gilman (Billy) of Baltimore; and her nephew, Bryan Collier of Hebron.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Kelvin Ford will be Friday, May 17, 2019 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a viewing will be one hour prior.  Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
