Mary Kathryn Thomas, 97, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Kingston on March 5, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Togge D. and Marian E. Horsey Hallberg. Her husband, Carlyle Coulbourne Thomas, preceded her in death on October 28, 1993.

She was retired from Rubberset Corporation and was a member of Quindocqua U. M. Church. She enjoyed sewing quilts and making crafts.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Terri Wright and husband Tracy, Dawn Hubbard, and Kevin Thomas; six great-grandchildren, Brittany Kilner, Jordan and Tyler Wright, and Justin, Joshua, and Jacob Nordstrom; one great-great-grandchild, Hadley Kilner; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda Bozman Thomas.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Carlyle Thomas on July 27, 2017; and her sister, Marian Matthews.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. Stephen S. Willing will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2 PM where a visitation will be a half hour prior. Urn interment at a later date will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Marion Station.
