Mary C. Hoover, 84, of Hearts Ease near Crisfield and formerly of Pasadena, MD and Marathon, FL, died on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.
Born in Lynchburg, VA on August 15, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alexander Caldwell and Nannie L. Cheatam Caldwell.
A graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Business, she was a retired CPA for the State of Maryland Board of Education in Baltimore.
She attended the Immanuel United Methodist Church and St. Peters United Methodist Church in Crisfield. She enjoyed bingo and crabbing and had a love for animals.
Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Levin Hoover; one brother, Tommy Caldwell of Smithfield, VA; two special cousins, Mary Judd of Crisfield and Gail Clark of Marion Station; and several other cousins and nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
