Obituary

Mary Lou Hall, 83, of Marion Station passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 20, 2022.

Born August 4, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Sterling Northam.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed traveling, crafts and most of all spending time with family.

Prior to retirement she was self-employed on the family farm as well as the family business, Rudy Hall and Sons. Along with her husband, Chief "Laughing Otter" Rudy Hall, she worked over two decades to preserve the culture and heritage of Native Americans.

She is survived by five children, Ronnie Brittingham of Virginia, William "JR" Brittingham (Patty), Robert Hall (Tracey) all of Marion, Mary Hall Diggs of Pocomoke, Rudy Hall, Jr. (Donelle) of Crisfield; 11 grandchildren Joey Brittingham, Jessica Lewis, Suzanne Clary, April Brittingham, John Hall, Amanda Hall, Vernon Wroten, Angela Diggs, Stacy Mormello, Kayla Hall Bowden, and Ana Hall; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Holler of Delaware; and her beloved dog, Baby Girl.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rudy Hall Sr.; a sister Helen Tyler; a son-in-law Hayes Diggs Jr.; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services officiated by Rev. LeBron Palmer will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1 PM at Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery in Westover.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Somerset County Humane Society, P.O. Box 493, Princess Anne, MD 21853.
