MARY EMILY EVANS, 79, of Crisfield, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at the home of her granddaughter in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield January 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Lewis T. and Lola Mae Swift Daugherty. Her husband, Richard Lee Evans, Sr. preceded her in death on September 18, 1988.

She was the former co-owner of Aunt Em's Restaurant and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard L. and Angie Evans and Ronnie and Kara Evans, all of Crisfield; six grandchildren, Kristy Tyler, Brad Evans, Ericka Evans, Ross Evans, Rachael Evans and Ryan Evans; four great-grandchildren, Scott Tyler, Austin Tyler, Mason Ignaccolo, and Ayden Thomas Dinterman; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Willie Daugherty.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Steve Willing will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
