Obituary

Martha Marshall Tull, 80, of Crisfield, died on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.

Born on Tylerton, Smith Island July 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Charlton Marshall and Ethlyn Laird Marshall. Her husband, Charles E. "Biddie" Tull died October 5, 2003.

She was a former Clerk for the City of Crisfield for 25 years and then was an assistant for the Maryland Veterans Commission in Crisfield for 20 years before her retirement. She enjoyed her grandchildren, loved being with her family and cooking them meals, enjoyed her bridge club and her life-long friends.

Martha moved from Smith Island to Crisfield at age 12, and graduated from Crisfield High School in 1946. She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church where she was active in Circle # 5 and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by a son, Stephen Tull (Holly) of Cambridge; grandchildren, Karen Tull of Hurlock and Kerry Tull of East New Market; step-grandson, Skyler Foxwell of Cambridge; three sisters, Dolores M. Hinman and Nina M. Miles (Glenn) of Salisbury, and Eleanor M. Tawes (Dr. Marvin) of Crisfield; brother-in-law, Roger L. Tull of Crisfield; sister-in-law, Peggy Tull of Crisfield; special cousin, Eileen Tull of Salisbury; special niece, Kathy Hinman of Salisbury; and many other nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 2 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Phil Sutton will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
