MARTHA ANNE HASTINGS CONNORTON, 92, of Columbia, MD and formerly of Westover, died Friday, August 26, 2011 at her home.

Born in Westover on December 24, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Archelaus A. and Fannie Swift Hastings. Her husband Charles Donald "Don" Connorton, preceded her in death on August 14, 1987.

A homemaker, she is survived by her daughter, Donna Anne Graham of Columbia; two nephews, Milton Harper Wright, Jr. and family of Baltimore and Alan Connorton and family of Quantico, VA.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law, G. Bert and Bernice Hastings and Archie Hastings; and her sisters and brothers-in-law, Bess and Ed Windsor, Mathilda and Raymond Walker, and Nancy and Milton Wright, Sr.

A graveside funeral service and interment will be Friday, September 2, 2011 at 1 PM at Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Maddox will officiate. There will be no viewing.
