Mark S. Landon, 53, of Crisfield, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Crisfield he was the son of the late Curtis James Landon and Essie Mae Lee Landon. Mark was a 1982 graduate of Crisfield High School. He retired in 2008 as a correctional officer at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover. He was currently a material handler for the Sherwin Williams Co. in Crisfield.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Charnick Landon; daughter, Blair Landon of Crisfield; brothers Mike Byrd (Shelley) and Curtis J. Landon, Jr. of Crisfield; sister, Lee Ann Ennis (Greg) of Crisfield. Also surviving are his father and mother-in law, Bill and Margaret Charnick of Crisfield; nieces and nephew, Brandi Riggin, Ryan Byrd, Sara Grosky, Karen Landon, and Megan Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Bradshaw and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call from 1-2 PM. The Rev. Charles Jacobson and Rev. Sumner Jones will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
