Obituary
Marilyn Virginia Mister, 68, of Westover, died Tuesday, August 25, 2014 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne.
Born in Baltimore on January 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Franklin W. and Kathleen B. Tyler Marshall.
She was a homemaker and a member of Union United Methodist Church on Tylerton, Smith Island. She had a great passion for the Chesapeake Bay and Smith Island and she cherished time spent with her family. Her boys were her life. She also enjoyed shopping trips to the Williamsburg Pottery.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Mister and wife Barbara of Eden and Derik Mister and wife Jodi of Marion; her grandchildren, Andrea Widdowson and husband Johnny of Salisbury, Gabrielle Mister of Eden, Darin Mister of Marion and Grant Mister of Marion; her husband, Richard A. "Tighty" Mister of Crisfield; her brother, Franklin William "Disco Bill" Marshall, Jr. of Westover; her first cousin, Janice Marshall of Crisfield; and her very best friend and companion, Jack Crockett of Westover.
Memorial services will be private.
