Obituary

Lucille T. Evans, 89, of Crisfield, died on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Alice Byrd Nursing Home.

Born on Rhodes Point on July 9, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Earl Tyler and Ollie Evans Tyler. She was a cafeteria worker for many years at the Crisfield High School. Her husband, Roland H. Evans, died on October 15, 1990.

She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Wharton Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Sterling, and a son, Roland W. "Woody" Evans, both of Crisfield; five grandsons, Jeff, Steve, Troy, Shaun, and Bobby Gene Sterling; a granddaughter, Jennifer DeVage; 17 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and Harold Tyler, and her son-in-law, Bobby Gene Sterling.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Paul Holland will officiate and interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
