Lorine Lawson, 72, of Marion Station, died on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.

Born in West Virginia on May 1, 1936, she was daughter of the late John Clifford Holland and Bessie Elizabeth Hicks Holland. She was a homemaker and a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Surviving are three sons; Kermit Lawson, Jr., and Gregory Lawson, both of Marion Station, and Daniel Lawson and wife, Cheryl of Severn, MD; three daughters, Sarah Cruey and Brenda Griner and husband, Walter, both of Marion Station, and Pixie Lawson of New Windsor, MD; three brothers, Joe Holland of Crisfield, Liege Holland of Salisbury, Dexter Holland of Fruitland and Charles Adams of Glen Burnie; three sisters, Violet Prontee of Centreville, MD, Betty Lloyd of Marion Station, and Sue Pool of South Carolina. There are 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Lawson (1999), a son, Charles Lawson, and a daughter, Katie Agnes.

Friends may call at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield Thursday, April 23, 2009 from 11 am to 1 pm. Cremation will follow and urn interment will be at a later date in Tennessee.

Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or the National Stroke Society.
