Lorin L. Wheatley, Sr., 70, of Crisfield, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Aurora Senior Living in Princess Anne, MD.

He was the son of the late John and Margaret Wheatley of Tangier, VA and was a member of Living Hope Ministries of the Eastern Shore.

He is survived by his wife, Mary "Mitsie" Wheatley of Crisfield; two brothers, Norman Lewis Wheatley of Nanticoke and Matthew R. Wheatley of Tangier, VA; one sister, Edna Jane Brown of Tangier, VA; one grandson, Brandon Wheatley.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Lorin L. Wheatley, Jr. and a sister, Mary Bryan.

A memorial service will be held at Living Hope Ministries of the Eastern Shore on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2 PM. Pastor LeBron Palmer will officiate.
