Obituary

Loretta Adelaide Marshall, 77, of Crisfield, and formerly of Tylerton, Smith Island, died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield September 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Mary Brown Tyler. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Elwood Franklin Marshall died on October 1, 1987.

Her memberships included the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield, and the Union United Methodist Church on Tylerton, where she sang in the choir in both churches, and a member of the former Chesapeake Chapter # 28 Order of the Eastern Star in Crisfield. She was also a private piano teacher.

Surviving is a son, Eric Marshall and wife Elaine of Edgewater, MD, a daughter, Dora Lynn Corbin and husband Harvey of Tylerton; a brother Carl Tyler & wife Pam of Crisfield, a sister, Sandra Evans and husband Chelton of Salisbury; 3 grandchildren, Bryan Corbin and wife Kristen, Adam Corbin and wife Rachel, and Casey Corbin; 4 great-grandchildren, Faith, Kimberly, Anna, and Kamryn Corbin. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband she preceded in death by 2 daughters, Denise Marshall (1979) and Donna Rosemary Marshall (2010).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Union United Methodist Church with Pastor Rick Edmund officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM or at the church Wednesday from 7-9 PM.
