Obituary
Lola Elizabeth Ford, 91, of Marion Station, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.
Born in Marion Station on December 18, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Herman J. and Mary E. Carter Ford.
She worked as a banker for more than 43 years at the former Bank of Marion, Farmers Bank, Bank of Crisfield, and Eastern Shore National Bank retiring in 1988. She was a member of the former Trinity U. M. Church in Marion and the Crisfield AARP.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ira "Shires" Ford, and a sister, Lena Palmer Howard.
Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Stephen S. Willing will be held Friday, June 17, 2016 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marion Fire Department, P.O. Box 143, Marion, MD 21838.
