Linda J. Schwab, 79, of Mt. Vernon, MD, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Catlettsburg, KY on August 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lindsey B. Webb, Jr. and Dora Belle Hert Johnson.  Linda was formerly of Chester, Pennsylvania, and the Pocono Mountains, and had been making her home in Mt. Vernon for the past 18 years.

Linda was a retired bartender and also worked as a CNA in Pennsylvania at Pleasant Valley Manor. She was a life member of the American Legion in Gilbert, PA and also enjoyed events at the American Legion Posts in Princess Anne, MD and Crisfield, MD. She loved reading, going to the beach, gardening, and flowers.

She is survived by her son, Larry Nevin Schwab and wife Gemma of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Kyla Schwab, Ayden Schwab, Krystal Langille, Matthew Livigne, Amanda Hering, and Cody Langille; her companion of five years, Kenneth Springer of Westover; brother, Gary Johnson of Chester, PA; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Robert Glenn Langille, Derrick Langille, and Matthew Schwab; and a brother, Richard.

A private memorial service will be at a later date.
