Linda L. Paden, 80, of Crisfield, died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at TidalHealth McCready.

Born in Crisfield November 11, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Thurston Nelson and Elva Matthews Parks.  Her husband, Robert H. Paden, died January 15, 2003.

A graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1959, she was an LPN and licensed respiratory therapist at the former McCready Hospital.  She retired as the department head of respiratory.

She loved her pets, researching genealogical history and enjoyed doing handwork.  She was also one of the first to participate in the Breast Cancer Reach to Recovery program.  In addition, she loved talking to her sister each night and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She devoted a great deal of her life caring for her daughter, Lorina.

She is survived by three children, Robert Paden, Jr., Lorina Paden, and Joey Paden, all of Crisfield; her sister and brother-in-law, Winnie and "Eugie" Pruitt of Crisfield; her grandchildren, Arlie and Alex Paden; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service officiated by Rev. Bob Daniels will be Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a visitation will be one hour prior.  Urn interment will be at a later date in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home Activities Fund, 201 Hall Highway, Crisfield, MD 21817.
