Obituary
Lillian Ruth Crockett, 87, of Crisfield, died on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Manokin Manor Nursing in Princess Anne.
Born in Crisfield, she was the daughter of the late Augustus T. Forbush and Lillian Guy Forbush. She was a retired nurses aide at the McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield. Her husband, Richard M. Crockett, died May 25, 2007.
Surviving are three children, Jim Crockett of Milton, DE, Dickie Crockett (Jacqueline) of Crisfield, and Kandy Powell of Annapolis; two grandsons, John Crockett of Crisfield, and Rex Hickman of Princess Anne. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leland Forbush, John Forbush, and Gus Forbush, Jr.; two sisters, Mollie Causer and Stella Lamson.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park near Crisfield. The Rev. Philip Morris will officiate. There will be no public viewing.
