Lewis Thomas "Tom" Colona, 87, of Westover, died Monday, November 25, 2019 at his home.

Born in Parksley, VA on January 13, 1932, he was a son of the late Walter Colona and Mary Lewis Colona.  His wife of 60 years, Doris Ann Wilson Colona, preceded him in death on March 9, 2019.  His wish has finally come true, and he is now again holding her hand.

He was a retired contractor with Colona and Son Renovation and attended Rehobeth Baptist Church.

He is survived by four children, Frankie T. Colona and fiancé Barby of AZ, Tanna Somers and husband Bruce of Marion, Sherry Ann Smith and husband Leo of Pasadena, and Billy Colona and wife Angie of Crisfield; nine grandchildren, Kari, Jennifer, Stephanie, Joe, Amanda, Kayla, Rachel, Ryan and Eric; ten great-grandchildren, Paige, Camren, Will, Jolean, Lee, Lincoln, Ryann Olivia, Connor, Nash and Cade; one great-great-grandchild; nephews, Joe and Berl Colona; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his grandmother who raised him, Mary Jewel Parks Simpson Lewis; and his brother, William Charles "Billy C." Colona.

A graveside memorial service and interment officiated by Rev. Eddie Daniels will be Friday, November 29, 2019 at 11 AM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Marion Fire Department, P.O. Box 143, Marion, MD 21838.
