LEVON D. BARGERON, 78, of Crisfield, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born March 10, 1931 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hayes R. and Opal Niece Davis. She moved with her family to Havre de Grace, Maryland, where she was raised and graduated high school.

After marriage, her and her husband, Richard, enjoyed traveling the world while he was in the military. They eventually moved to Bowie, Maryland, where they raised their son, Michael.

A resident of Crisfield for the past 25 years, Levon owned and managed a jewelry store in town for 19 years. She loved fashion jewelry, and especially loved selling wedding bands, which made her feel like she was a part of the couple's special day.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Bargeron of Crisfield; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael R. and Carol Bargeron of Bowie; and her brother, Roy Davis of Crisfield.

Following cremation, no services are being planned. Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
