LAWSON E. WILLIAMS, 73, of Marion Station, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Crisfield on December 30, 1934, he was a son of the late Emmett Joseph and Phoebe Emily Maddox Williams.
A member of Quindocqua United Methodist Church in Marion Station, he served in the US Army National Guard Company L, 29th Division, formerly based in Crisfield. He was a farmer for 45 years, which he truly loved.
He is survived by a brother, Edwin B. "Benny" Williams and his wife Thelma of Princess Anne; a sister, Terri Hinman and her fiancé John Green of Crisfield; his special friends and caregivers, Alan Butler and Marcia Johnson, both of Marion Station; three nieces; two nephews; and many cousins.
Cremation followed his death, and there are no formal services planned.
