Laurie Ann Melson, 59, of Stockton, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional. Born in Bristol, PA, on February 16, 1966, she was a daughter of the late James and Wilma Hume Efaw.

She was a graduate of Pennsbury High School in Pennsylvania, and worked many years as a secretary at Holloway and Melson Funeral Homes in Pocomoke, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed shopping, going to the casino, doting on her fur baby "Zeus", and she especially loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Phillips of Stockton; daughter, Stephanie A. Melson and fiancé Josh Weisenburg of Greenbackville; son, Kevin Watson Melson, Jr. and fiancé Kristen Althouse of Pocomoke; siblings, Sallie Pagnani of Pennsylvania, Glenn Efaw of North Carolina, Wayne Efaw of Pennsylvania, Bonnie Dreisbach of Pennsylvania, and Virginia Efaw of Ohio; and grandchildren Lorelai Melson, Thomas Bright, Lily Weisenburg, Annabel Melson, and Amelia Melson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Kevin Watson Melson, Sr.; and her brothers, James Efaw, III, and Robert Efaw.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a viewing will be from 12-1 PM.  Pastor Trever Pusey will officiate.  Interment will follow in First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
