Laura Jean Rincon, 70, of Marion Station and formerly of Mason, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She had been making her home in Marion Station since January.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 19, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Eugene Earwood and Mary Jo Gardner Earwood.
She was a scheduler secretary with Danka in Tennessee. She also served in the US Army during the reduction of forces following the Vietnam War in the late 1970's.
She enjoyed watching her favorite Soap Operas, The Young & The Restless and The Bold & The Beautiful, movies on the Hallmark Channel and playing games on her tablet. She also enjoyed Mexican BINGO and shopping online. Most of all she loved her family and her animals.
She is survived by her husband of two years, Carlos Jose Rincon of Marion Station; her son, David Allen Earwood (Lisa) of Covington, Tennessee; step-sons, Gene Rincon (Deloras) of Marion Station, Carlos Rincon, Jr. (Beverly) of Frankford, DE, Arthur Rincon (Ashley) of Marion Station, and Roman Rincon of Minnesota; her brother, Jack Earwood (Sylvia) of Tennessee; her sister, Mary Lynn Hollis (Blake) of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
