IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Larry Filmore
Cosner
September 7, 1957 – December 30, 2024
Larry Filmore Cosner, 67, of Crisfield, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.
Born and raised in Glen Burnie, he was a son of the late Junior Cosner and Dorothy Mae Miller Settan.
Larry graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1975. He worked in retail most of his life and most recently at Sears in Salisbury where he sold electronics and appliances. In his younger years he worked at Woolworth's and Candor and Lurking to name a few.
He attended Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in Salisbury and enjoyed volunteering there when he was able. He loved collecting SpongeBob memorabilia and will be remembered for his goofy sense of humor. He was a quiet person who didn't want anyone to worry about him, and he always put others first. Larry took care of his mother until her passing and loved his family deeply.
He is survived by his brother, Gerald "Gerry" Cosner and fiancé Mary of Washington State; sister-in-law, Hazel Cosner of Crisfield; nieces, Erin Cosner and her boyfriend Chris James and his daughter, Jolean of Shelltown, and Jennifer Parks and her husband Steve, and their family, Haley and her daughter Alaia, Zach Parks, Justin Parks, and Joey Fuerneisen; and many special friends, including the Fritsch Family and the Bonuccelli Family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James A. "Jim" Cosner in 2017.
Memorial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home, 201 Hall Highway, Crisfield, MD 21817.
Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
