Kyle William Rima, 59, of Tangier Island, Virginia, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the home of his daughter.
Born in Wisconsin April 2, 1960, he was a son of Iris Blondell Rima and the late Roger Dean Rima.
A graduate of Williamsport High School, he served 20 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Senior Chief.
He enjoyed shooting pool in a league and also loved to play golf. He loved his new home on Tangier Island where his favorite thing to do was spend time at the beach. He loved to paint ceramics as well. Caring and loving his family was his biggest special interest, and he will be truly missed.
He is survived by his mother, Iris Blondell Rima; his daughter, Starlet Marie Sterling and husband Michael David Sterling and their children Angel Marie Sterling and David Michael Sterling; his son, Larry Steven Hayter and wife Suely and their son Eric Anthony Hayter; step-daughter, Kala Labee and her children, Jaylin Dutton and Natalie Brown; brother, Sean Keith Rima and wife Siria and their children Avery, Alysha, and Stephen Rima; nephew, Roger Rima and fiancé Katie Roussey; mother-in-law, Joan Grant; and father-in-law, George Grant.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Rima.
