Kurt Dykins Hohman, 65, of Marion Station, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of  Elmer Adolph Hohman, Sr. and Jane Hisle Hohman.

Kurt was a retired construction foreman. A highlighted achievement while working in construction was when he helped build the harbor tunnel in Baltimore.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and the beach. He was a devoted member of his church, Living Hope Church of God, and was very active in helping his community. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and pit bull, Zeus.

Surviving are his children, Sara Jane Hohman and Joshua Shane Hohman; and grandchildren, Kurt Hohman, III, Xavier Hohman, Arya Isabella Islam, Avery Reign Islam, and Jamal Hohman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kurt Dykins Hohman, Jr.

A memorial service will be Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 5 PM at Living Hope Church of God in Marion Station.  A dinner will follow.
