Kevin Daniel Soukup went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD. He made his home in Crisfield, MD.
Born in Utica, NY on February 25, 1963, he was the son of Dan and Louise Soukup and Donna and Warren Timmons, all of Seaford, DE.
He graduated from Seaford High School in 1981. Kevin proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1981-1985. He later went to work at Eastern Correctional Institution. He retired from there in 2010, as a Correctional Officer Lieutenant, with 23 years of service. He was currently employed as a dispatcher at Cato, Inc.
Kevin was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and showed off his Steelers tattoo to everyone. He loved to watch movies of all kinds. He loved traveling and weekend getaways with his wife. He was a friend to everyone and always had a smile on his face. He loved his dogs, especially "Chipper." Kevin loved his family most of all. He wanted nothing more than to spend time with them and would have done anything for them.
Kevin is survived by his wife and best friend of almost 21 years, Jody Soukup of Crisfield; two sons, Noah Soukup and Devan Soukup, both of Crisfield; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and James Dykes; grandchildren, Gavin, Liam, and Thalia Dykes, all of Fruitland; mother-in-law, Cindy Marshall of Crisfield, who he loved like his own mother; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Burnice Lankford of Seaford, DE; two special sisters-in-law, Angela and Amber Insley of Crisfield; brothers, Rob (Tara) Timmons of New Hope, PA and Guy (Bridget) Doel of Milton, DE; brothers-in-law, Storm Marshall of Crisfield, Steve (Jessica) Lankford and Chris (Sade) Lankford, all of Seaford, DE; a special aunt, Betty Marsh of Crisfield; very special nieces and nephews who called him "K.K.," Paxton, Kadence, and Preston Insley, and Skylar and Autumn Marshall; godchildren, Josh Milliner and Adrianna, Jenna, Anthony, and Caleb Warfield; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marc Soukup; his father-in-law, Phillip Marshall; and a very special grandmother, Elle Yaple.

Services officiated by Rev. Kevin Marsh will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 2 PM. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
