Kenneth Robert Rees, 70, of Crisfield, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at his home.

Born in Portsmouth, VA on July 16, 1954, he was a son of Ruth Rowland Rees of Virginia Beach and formerly of Pocomoke and the late Donald R. Rees.

He was a graduate of Pocomoke High School class 1972 where he was soccer All-American in 1972.  He was a Forestry Specialist with Chesapeake Corporation for 25 years, then with Vision Forestry, GFR and most recently Danny Reid Logging.  He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Pocomoke.

Kenny loved the outdoors and the woods and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Katherine Lawson Rees of Crisfield; his son, Bryan Lawson Rees (Harley) of Crisfield; two sisters, Karen Rees Frieberg (Dave) of FL and their children Reese (Tricia) and Lucas (Vincinza), and Susan Rees McSpadden (Ken) of VA and their children Andrew and Catlin; two grandchildren, Brody and Colton Rees; and great-nieces and nephews, Reed, Parker, Easton, Elijah and Noah; his father-in-law, Oliver Lawson (and mother-in-law, the late Joan F. Lawson); sisters-in-law, Karen Lawson and Kristy Lawson (Brian); and his beloved pet German Shepherd, "Nova".

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.  Rev. LeBron Palmer will officiate.
