Kay Arlene Wheeler, 86, of Crisfield, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at her home.

Born in Crisfield on January 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Aaron "Buss" and Charlotte Ward Sterling.  Her husband, James Wesley "Jack" Wheeler, preceded her in death August 12, 2012.

A graduate of McCoy College at Johns Hopkins University, she was an accountant for Rowels Accounting Firm.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Charlotte Aufdem-Brinke and her children, Brady, McKenna, Quinn, and Colby; granddaughter, Agatha Snowden and her children, Hailey, Ryan, Tyler, Lola, and Avery; cousins, Annette McClenahan, Ryan McClenahan  and Heather McClenahan and families; and her Hearts Ease neighbors and friends, Karen, Buddy, Melora, Melissa, Fusty, Fred, Toni, Julie and Clair.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Colleen "Susie" Wheeler, on November 27, 1993

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
