Kathleen B. Marshall, 88, of Crisfield and formerly of Tylerton, MD passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.
Born in Baltimore, MD on October 4, 1926, she was a daughter of the late John and Lena Marsh Tyler. Her husband, Franklin W. Marshall preceded her in death on September 27, 1979.
Very active in her community and a member of Tylerton United Methodist Church, Kathleen was a homemaker and also worked at Bayside Restaurant on Rhodes Point. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for her family and was well known for her wittiness and making people laugh. She was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, and enjoyed serving others.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her children, Marilyn Mister (Jack Crockett), and Franklin William "Disco Bill" Marshall, Jr., all of Westover; two grandchildren, Bill Mister and wife Barbara, of Allen and Derik Mister and wife Jodi, of Marion; four great-grandchildren, Andrea Mister of Salisbury, Gabrielle Mister of Allen, and Darin Mister and Grant Mister both of Marion; a niece, Janice Marshall of Crisfield; a son-in-law, Richard "Tighty" Mister of Crisfield; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nola Tyler and Rosa Goldsborough; and her best friends Mary Emily Evans and Mina Laird.
Funeral services officiated by Rev. Steve Willing will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
