Obituary

Karen Lee Hosea, 61, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Baltimore City on July 26, 1953, she was a daughter of the late George Macneal and Elma Collars Rice. She was the step-daughter of the late Ralph Rice.

She was a military wife and loved being a florist. She also loved horticulture, horses, cats, fishing, boating, being outdoors, and writing.

She is survived by her son, Randall Cook, Jr. and wife Nicole of Baltimore; grandchildren, Joey and Lexi; sisters and brothers, Gloria Call and husband Ronnie of Aberdeen, her twin sister Sharon Raimondo and Robert Drummond of Crisfield, David Macneal and wife Sharon of Crisfield, Cindy Duckworth and husband Kenny of Perry hall, Freddy Rice and wife Tammy of Whiteford, and Elma Van Horn of Havre deGrace; a special niece, Jennifer Cooper and husband Coy of Pocomoke; her former husband, Robert Hosea of Mississippi; her brother-in-law, Page Reynolds of Baltimore; her sister-in-law, Windie Macneal of York, PA; her very close friend, Nigel Stansfield of England; her cats Elvis and Sassy; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Reynolds; and a brother, George Macneal.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where the family will receive friends one hour prior.
